Because I tend to do a better job of hitting my goals when I post them on this blog...
I haven't yet done the read-through-the whole-Bible thing. I know. This is a confession of the darkest sort. I really should have. But I haven't. So now I will.
My goal is to read it in a year, but if I find it too hard to digest with certain little people running around, then I will go to the two year plan. I want to complete this task well, not just check it off a list.
So there you have it. A published declaration of intent. I will track my progress on Tuesdays, so hold me to it!

i have a chronological bible. and when i say chronological, i mean it as in the books are all split up and everything is chronological... as in psalms are mixed up in the samuels and paul's letters are mixed up in acts when they would have been written. i've read through it 1 and a half times so far (over about 2 years) and i feel like i learned more about the bible in this way than ever before, because it just all made so much sense! i highly recommend it :)
I don't think I have read the ENTIRE bible ever. Because I get through certain books in the Old Testament, like when they are stating all of the families in the bible and I fail to get through them...terrible...I know!!!! Maybe I will do this with you:)
Hannah, you will enjoy this so much! I started back in January reading the entire bible and I chose to use my NLT version. I now only like the finishing Matthew and the other gospels to be finished!! I saved the best for last! Good Luck
