Passport Photos: Take 1

As you can imagine, getting small children to take decent passport pictures is a difficult task. They are incredibly specific about how the picture should looks. The girls were very, very good, though. They had great attitudes. The people taking the pictures (at a drug store, maybe not the best situation since it is so very, very difficult) were incredibly kind and patient, but they still didn't turn out right. The white screen that is used as a background is about four feet off the ground, so DeLaynie had to sit on Edwin's shoulders, and we held Ella up cheerleader style. I don't have a scanner, so I took a picture of the pictures. It doesn't make for the highest quality, but it makes the point adequately enough.

There is a rule that the picture can't be overexposed, and the brightness of the flash created a similar affect on DeLaynie. It appears that she has stop-the-traffic red lips. Ella has a pretty nice picture, but it is too far off. It looks like we'll have to try it again. I had a feeling this was going to take a couple of attempts.

I went ahead and added a couple of pictures of how the girls actually look. It's mostly for the purpose of showing off my babies. I especially enjoy the picture of Ella.
